DESCRIPTION: Describe the item thoroughly

When describing your item remember this is your opportunity to sell it! So make sure you market it well!

There is no limit to the space you use. To avoid questions later, use as much detail as possible. The more details about an item the better. Describe the mechanical, interior and the body conditions. Try and anticipate the buyers' needs here. What would you want to know if you were buying a vehicle?

As a minimum, include the following:

Year
Make
Model
Sub model
VIN number
Colour
Engine type
Transmission
Options and option packages
Interior and comfort features
Mileage on vehicle
Any notable additions or modifications to the vehicle
Ownership history
Condition: Make sure you disclose a correct description of the vehicle
Any superficial or structural damage ("body is straight", or "slight damage in rear drive quarter")
Features and options ("CD player", or "air conditioning")
If possible state if logbooks or service records are available or recent service history
List any warranty or certification applicable to the vehicle ("vehicle past safety certification Dec. 2002")
